TARP, TGLP, TALF या आणि अशा अनेक मार्गांनी अमेरिकन सरकार आधीच मार्केटवर डायरेक्ट प्रभाव टाकते आहेच. जगातील भांडवलशाही देशात आणि जगातही नवीन वर्षात कोणत्या दिशेने बदलांचे वारे वाहणार याची चाहूल वॉल स्ट्रीटवरच्या आजच्या घडामोडीत लागते.

सदर लेखास अनेक अवांतर प्रतिसाद आलेले दिसत आहेत. हे प्रतिसाद चांगले आहेत आणि अतिअवांतर नाहीत हेही खरे आहे. त्यांत वाह्यातपणा नसल्याने संपादकांचे दुर्लक्ष झालेले असू शकते पण तरीही हे सर्व प्रतिसाद एकाच प्रतिसादाखाली संकलित केल्यास मूळ लेखाच्या हेतूस हातभार लागेल असे वाटते. - एकलव्य

येणार्‍या वादळाची -- बहुदा पेल्यातीलच कारण खरे वादळ झेपणारे नाही -- चाहूल अमेरिकन ट्रेझररने नवीन राजवटीच्या सुरुवातीस चीनवर केलेला डायरेक्ट आरोप - "President Obama -- backed by the conclusions of a broad range of economists -- believes that China is manipulating its currency." त्यावर चीनने अधिकृतरित्या मारलेला टोला - "Directing unsubstantiated criticism at China on the exchange rate issue will only help US protectionism and will not help towards a real solution to the issue"
