अनेक उत्साही मिपाकरांना हे सांगण्यावाचून मला राहवलं नाही. तरीही संपादक मंडळास या धाग्याबाबत आक्षेप नसेल अशी आशा. असल्यास क्षमस्व.

आपणापैकी अनेकास माहित असलेले/नसलेले ज्येष्ठ इतिहास संशोधक श्री. आप्पा परब, यांच्यासोबत एक दिवस शिवनेरी किल्ल्यास भेट देण्याची, व पर्यायाने इतिहासाची पानं उलगडून बघण्याची संधी मी आपणासोबत शेअर करू इच्छितो.
दिनांक २७ ऑक्टोबर २०१३ रविवार रोजी या संधीचा आपण लाभ घेऊ शकता.
माझ्या परिचयाचा एक तरुण दुर्गभटक्या विक्रांत जाधव ही भेट आखत आहे. संबंधित तपशील असा:

Pick up point: 27th Oct 2013 at Near Godrej hall, Vikhroli East (One minute walking distance from Vikhroli railway station_East) @ 7.00 AM sharp
The Cost for the Tour is Rs. 450/-*
*What the package includes: Tea, Breakfast, Snacks (Morning & Evening), 1 lunches, Private transport from Mumbai to Shivneri fort and back.
Excluding: Anything not mentioned above. Personal needs will be governed by self.
Last date of Registration: 24th Oct 2013 (Seats will be available on first come first serve basis)

Location Details :
Shiveneri Fort : Shivneri Fort is a historic military fortification located near Junnar. It is the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji, the founder of Maratha Empire. Chhatrapati Shivaji was born at the fort on 19 February 1630, and spent his childhood there.he got his name SHIVBA here. Inside the fort is a small temple dedicated to the goddess Shivai Devi, after whom Shivaji was named.
The itinerary for the event is as given below:
27th Oct 2013:-
Board the Bus from the starting point at 7.00 AM...
8.30 AM : Tea +Breakfast in route
10 AM :Shivneri exploration with Historian Appa Parab
2 PM to 3 PM : Lunch
3 PM to 5 PM : Question and answer round + Tea
Start our return journey to Mumbai. We should reach Mumbai by 8.00 pm
What to Bring:
● Some ready-to-eat food
● A bottle of water (at least 2 liter)
● Medicine that you require usually
● A haversack to put in all the things to be carried....
● Cap/ Hat, Sun glass, Rain coat, Umbrella
● Other things as per Individual requirement.
